Growing details

Armenian cucumber is a melon relative grown and eaten like a cucumber. Pick the long fruit while young for a mild flavor and tender skin.

Growing basics

  • Plant in full sun after frost danger passes and the soil warms.
  • Use soil that drains well and keep moisture even while plants grow.
  • Provide a trellis or room for vines to spread.
  • Allow pollinators to visit the flowers.

Do not rely on fruit setting without pollination unless your seed supplier confirms a specific parthenocarpic cultivar.
