50-60 days—White Albino Beet, also known as Albina Vereduna, is a unique and visually striking variety of beet. Unlike its red counterparts, this beet produces pure white roots that are smooth, round, and sweet. The lack of red pigment results in a milder, less earthy flavor compared to traditional beets, making it an excellent choice for those who find red beets too strong.

These beets grow to about 2-3 inches in diameter and feature attractive green leaves with pale midribs. The tops are edible and can be used like Swiss chard, adding versatility to your garden harvest. The white roots are perfect for fresh eating, roasting, or pickling, and they won't stain your hands or cooking surfaces.

White Albino Beets are not only a culinary delight but also a conversation starter in any garden. Their pale roots provide an interesting contrast when planted alongside colorful vegetables, making them a favorite among gardeners looking to add diversity to their plots.

Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds directly in the garden 2-3 weeks before the last expected frost, or as soon as the soil can be worked in spring. Plant seeds 1/2 inch deep and 1 inch apart in rows 12-18 inches apart. Thin seedlings to 3-4 inches apart when they are about 2 inches tall. For a continuous harvest, sow every 2-3 weeks until midsummer.

Average Seed Life: 3-4 years

Packet: 40 seeds
