Greek Oregano Seeds

Greek Oregano is a tasty herb that comes back every year. It grows about 1-2 feet tall and has small, oval-shaped leaves that smell really good. In the summer, it gets tiny white or pink flowers that bees love.

This plant is super for gardens because it's easy to grow and doesn't need much water once it gets going. Greek Oregano is famous for its strong, spicy flavor that's great in lots of foods, especially Italian and Greek dishes. It's yummier than regular oregano!

How to Plant: You can plant Greek Oregano seeds right in your garden after the last spring frost. Or, start them inside 6-8 weeks before spring. Sprinkle the tiny seeds on top of the soil and press them down gently, but don't cover them - they need light to grow. Keep the soil a little damp. Seeds usually sprout in 7-14 days.

Greek Oregano loves sunny spots in the garden. It grows well in most types of soil as long as water doesn't puddle around it.

Seeds stay good for: 2 years

Packet: 50 seeds

Fun Fact: The word "oregano" comes from Greek words meaning "joy of the mountain" because it grows wild on hillsides in Greece!
