Growing details

Champion collards grow broad leaves for the cooking pot. Pick a few outer leaves and leave the center to keep growing.

Growing basics

  • Grow in cool weather, using your local spring or fall planting dates.
  • Choose a sunny spot with soil that drains well. Keep the seedbed moist, then thin crowded plants.

In warm Southern climates, fall planting can carry the harvest into winter. Use local planting dates.

Packet: 50 seeds.
