Bunching Onion Heirloom Seeds - Ishikira Winter Long

Ishikira Winter Long is a special type of bunching onion that's great for growing in your garden. These onions don't make big bulbs like regular onions. Instead, they grow long, white stalks with green tops that you can eat. They're also called green onions or scallions.

This variety is extra cool because it can grow through the winter in many places. It's tough and can handle cold weather better than other onions. Ishikira Winter Long onions have a mild, tasty flavor that's great in lots of dishes.

How to Plant: You can plant these seeds directly in your garden in early spring or late summer. Plant the seeds about 1/4 inch deep and 1 inch apart. When the plants grow a bit, you can space them out to about 4 inches apart. They like sunny spots but can grow okay in partial shade too.

These onions are ready to eat in about 60-70 days. You can start picking the green parts even earlier if you want. They're yummy in salads, soups, and lots of other foods!

Seeds stay good for: 1 year

Packet: 50 seeds

Fun Fact: "Ishikura" is a Japanese name. These onions have been grown in Japan for a very long time!
