Culantro Live Plant (a.k.a Recao, Ngo Gai, Chadon Beni)

This listing is for one live culantro plant, a flavorful herb originating from tropical regions of the Americas, Caribbean, and parts of Asia and Africa. Culantro is known for its long, serrated leaves that grow in a rosette pattern and can reach up to a foot in length.

Culantro has a robust and intense flavor, often described as a combination of cilantro and citrus with a slight peppery undertone. It's a staple in many Latin American and Caribbean cuisines, commonly used to season soups, stews, rice dishes, and marinades. It's also a key ingredient in the traditional Puerto Rican "sofrito."

Your culantro plant will arrive well-rooted and ready for transplanting. It thrives in warm, humid climates and well-drained soil. This herb can be grown in gardens or as a potted plant, making it versatile for various growing conditions.

Care Instructions: Plant in well-draining soil in a location that receives partial shade. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Harvest leaves as needed, cutting from the outer edges of the plant.

Plant Size: Your plant will be approximately 4-6 inches tall when shipped.
